I searched for “Fluttershy” on Facebook, clicked on the Pages tab, and proceeded to like about 50 pages called “Fluttershy”. I regret nothing.
I would like a lesbian Rainbow Dash to be canon. It would be an perfect role model to see someone not differently treated just because of ones sexual orientation. And for the argument that this wouldn’t be suited for an childs show: If the fact of someone being gay would be unsuited for children (therefore implying to be gay is morally wrong) the message of tolerance in the show would be undone.
